BOSS Goes Casual for Spring ’21 Collection

The Fashionisto / Published September 29, 2020

Due to limited guests being present at the spring-summer 2021 collection fashion show, BOSS took to TikTok to stream the event. It was hosted outdoors at the Palazzo del Senato in Milan. This is where the first show for womenswear had been featured twenty years previously. A return to the venue reinforces the confidence and elegance that BOSS’ clothing exudes at all times, whether it is created for men or women.

BOSS’ show reflected the outdoors with the addition of many trees at the show. Reflecting on the fashion house’s eco-conscious efforts, they were later presented to the city of Milan as a gift. BOSS will provide care for the trees for a period of two years. An extension of its efforts, this finely designed collection presents a sense of renewal, along with creativity. There is a concentration on the artistry that is combined with color and craft.

Art and fashion collide with a prominent focus on the botanical work of William Farr. He hails as an artist from the London region and is known for his union of flowers in conjunction with various objects. These served as the inspirations for the pieces that were printed and featured embroidery.

In this collection, there is evidence of incorporating more casualization. As a result, the clothing seems sportier and more youthful than previously designed clothing for the more mature man. On the runway, prevailing items included modern sneakers, laid-back hoodies, pants with drawstrings, and bomber jackets.
