Peppered with the “AP” logo, Andrea Pompilio’s fall-winter 2018 collection continues the designer’s tongue in cheek “supermarket” approach to fashion. Wearable clothes are at the forefront of the range with a focus on relaxed separates. Stylized layers make an impact. Here, the eye is drawn to key pieces such as a sleeveless hoodie and striped top. Pompilio also embraces slouchy silhouettes, particularly with baggy pants. While the designer can’t ignore a sharp suit number in plaid, the collection maintains its casualness with denim jeans, striped knitwear, and graphic hoodies. Additional standouts include two-tone plaid shirts and short tailored blouson jackets.
