It’s an encore performance as AMI stages its first show outside of France. The French brand travels to Shanghai, China to present its spring-summer 2020 collection. Celebrating its growing business in China, AMI marks the special occasion with the release of exclusive looks in red. A brilliant choice for the change in venue, the color red stands for the Chinese symbol of joy, luck, and celebration.
Discussing the show, AMI creative director Alexandre Mattiussi, conveys, Shanghai is a fascinating city. I love its dynamism; the bubbling mix of Oriental and Occidental influences.
Mattiussi continues, AMI’s first fashion show outside of our beloved Paris is a great milestone for us: hosting it in Shanghai is our way to thank and celebrate the city and the country, and all our friends here.
