Alexander McQueen took to an industrial space to unveil its fall-winter 2018 men’s collection. One of the sartorial highlights of Paris Fashion Week, the show included a number of impeccably tailored suits. Sarah Burton sent models down the catwalk in sharp overcoats and oversized outerwear as well. Accompanied by the air of a banker, traditional numbers opened themselves up to a rebellious reinterpretation of classic style. Key items such as the argyle print sweater vest paired nicely with an elongated shirt and cigarette-thin rousers. Meanwhile, graphic windowpane prints joined a splash of deep red, seen in pieces like a leather jacket or double-breasted suit. Making a graphic proposal, additional print motifs for the season ranged from tartan to floral.
