Acne Studios’ spring-summer 2026 collection explores the kind of inheritance you wear into shape, over time. Here, the garments have the ease of old favorites, kept close even as they fray.
This intention is clearest in the denim pieces. They are washed, pinstriped, pieced together, and then constructed with a workwear mindset. A two-tone jacket is intentionally rigid. Its sleeves resemble ones from an earlier era.
The matching jeans stop abruptly above teal cowboy boots. The shirt beneath the jacket features a wide placket, worn with the unconscious familiarity of a long-outgrown school uniform. Acne embraces a deliberately off-center stance.
In other looks, proportions shift between youthful and academic. One shirt hangs well past the hip, buttoned to the collar and worn with oxblood shorts and nylon socks pulled high. Another look simplifies the palette with a slim-fit polo tucked into athletic trunks. The tight shirt and elevated waistband introduce a preppy strain, like someone attempting to appear ready.
Instead of polished finishes, Acne leans into tension. Knit socks with sandals and turtlenecks under puckered shirts extend that friction. The styling resists resolution, and each choice feels calculated in its irregularity.
