Coach reintroduces shearling into its fall-winter 2016 men’s collection.

Approaching his fall-winter 2016 collection, Coach creative director Stuart Vevers injects the storied American brand with a sophisticated take on cool. Honing in on a nostalgic spin on casual style, Vevers pays homage to 1970s hip-hop style and music legend Bruce Springsteen. The unlikely blend of references takes the Coach man down a relaxed path of easy separates and irresistible outerwear.

Sporting modest sneakers and boots, models hit the catwalk, embracing a dark color palette, accented with pops of yellow and red. Here, slim-cut trousers were paired with graphic pullovers, workwear-inspired tops and half-zip shirts embellished with oversized zippers. Leather biker jackets and shearling covered bombers added a fresh alternative to utilitarian but stylish parkas and peacoats. Accented with bucket hats and sunglasses, another collection motif involved the use a of red and black buffalo check print. The timeless pattern added a rustic attitude to the impressive range.
