Chiwetel Ejiofor plays Matches Fashion’s leading man, covering its fall-winter 2015 magazine. Cleaning up in designer fashions for the season, Ejiofor charms in choice ensembles pulled together by stylist Sophie Van Derwelle. Posing for studio images, the 38 year-old actor is photographed by Simon Emmett. Discussing how he conducts his life outside the public eye, Ejiofor shares, “I think it affects people’s understanding of the character you’re playing if they know X, Y and Z about you. It’s just very hard to convince people of a character if they know all about the actor’s life and thoughts.” He continues, “So trying to contain the conversation within the professional realm is certainly something that I think is useful. Not to everybody, maybe, but it’s useful to me.”
