Barneys New York reunites with photographer Bruce Weber for its spring-summer 2016 campaign. Coinciding with the opening of its new Chelsea flagship on 7th Avenue, Barneys celebrates the Big Apple. Representing New York natives from various walks of life, the luxury retailer seeks to capture the diversity of the city.

Discussing his involvement with the campaign, Weber shares, “My affair with New York City began when I first went to the film school at NYU. Our school was on top of the Fillmore East and it felt as though anything was possible with the music I heard.
The famed photographer continues, “Life in the city was so freewheeling then. As I now took photographs and films of my beloved city, I could still feel its embrace and a tear ran down my cheek for a love once lost and again found.”
