Tod’s New Creative Director–Taking aim at ready to wear, Tod’s has tapped designer Andrea Incontri as its new men’s creative director. The label will be presenting a spring/summer 2015 collection this Sunday during Milan Fashion Week. It was supervised by Incontri, but his first official outing for Tod’s will be fall/winter 2015. Tod’s chairman and chief executive officer Diego Della Valle shared with WWD, “Andrea’s arrival in our design team enriches the men’s wear collections, giving our customers an even wider offering, especially for the ready-to-wear.” Opening up about his new position, Incontri added, “Becoming part of a company like Tod’s is both an honor and an exciting challenge. Quality and contemporary Italian style are Tod’s values that are already part of my personal vision of the modern man. My aim is to develop them, always keeping in mind the importance of the roots of a brand with such a rich history and craftsmanship.”
