Participating in Australian Fashion Week for the first time, New Zealand label Stolen Girlfriends Club debut their spring 2011 collection entitled Life’s a Beach…Watch Out for Crabs. Inspired by surfers, Stolen Girlfriends Club’s Marc Moore, Luke Harwood and Dan Gosling reference their own initial interests, but take their past-time in a new direction with a dark spin that leaves their man rather covered. Subdued, but spirited, spring’s outing also sees the beginning of prints for the label. Strong on visual impact and relaxed on fit, Stolen Girlfriends Club boasts an eclectic collection that charms with both style and substance.
