The anticipation for Star Wars: The Force Awakens is at an all-time high with Entertainment Weekly reporting that several movie websites have crashed or slowed down as fans try to preorder tickets for the movie, which opens December 18, 2015. Ahead of the release, Walt Disney and Lucas Film Ltd. have released new poster artwork.
Character posters join artwork made in the style of artist Drew Struzan. Actors John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Adam Driver and Oscar Isaac are front and center for the character posters, delivering fierce gazes as they pose with their weapon of choice.
