Complex Fashion–The uniform reigns for Siki Im’s spring/summer 2014 collection with the designer focusing on fashions that take their inspiration from prisons and hospitals. Particularly interested in Alix Lambert’s documentary The Mark of Cain, Im crafts a minimal wardrobe using neutrals as a clean slate for the season. Creating soft separates with no hard edges for obvious reasons, draping lends the collection a relaxed attitude. Mixing jumpsuits with loose pants, paper-thin scrubs inspired separates, elongated tops and lightweight jackets, Siki Im creates his own industry standard for the fashionable guilty.
