Walter Van Beirendonck’s eccentric designs often appear to be from another world, so fittingly, he explores that theme for the fall 2010 season, turning to martians of every color for inspiration. In Beirendonck’s universe, his men are either wearing heels and leggings or brightly colored body suits, best complemented by a wide variety of quirky pieces. Beirenonck serves up an amusing array of bolero knits, jumpsuits and knits best emblazoned with a “W”.

  1. Just when I was beginning to fear that FW10 was going to be a pretty drab affair. I will say, though, that the giant knitted Ws on the sweaters makes me think of Weasley sweaters (though better made, I'm sure).

  3. Seriously, I'm so inspired by this collection, and it's definitely Katamari without a doubt, and I totally wanted to somehow embody the style myself. I could only dream of owning such clothes.

  7. Mr.Van Bierendonck has always, and will always, be one step ahead of New York or Milan designers, with well made clothing that still catches the eyes of others for years to come.
