garrett neff1 Garrett Neff Talks to The Hollywood Reporter About Style + Opening Vietnamese Restaurant

Garrett Neff wears Salvatore Ferragamo to The Hollywood Reporter Media Power List Party

Neff’s Big Plans–The face of Salvatore Ferragamo’s Acqua Essenziale fragrance, American model Garrett Neff was on hand for The Hollywood Reporter’s Media Power List party. Talking about creating a power outfit with ease, Neff shares, “I think the most important element of a power outfit is proper fit. The one item to focus on is a suit. If it’s the right fit, you could wear it with a T-shirt and still convey the positive message. I think Ferragamo is doing a really great job with fit right now so I find myself wearing their stuff all the time.” Switching gears and dishing on his new Philadelphia restaurant Pho, Neff reveals “Yes, my good friend Tyler, (I was the best man in his wedding) myself and a good friend of ours Alex are opening Stock in mid may in Philadelphia on East Girard. It’s a Vietnamese Pho restaurant and we’ll serve other Vietnamese dishes as well. I’m really excited for it to open. You can stop by when Tyler and his wife Nicole get back to Philly after my sister’s wedding, they didn’t want to open up then have to be closed on one of the first Saturdays in business, so they open the doors the week after May 10.” Read more at HollywoodReporter.com.

Leto Confidential–Actor Jared Leto covers the spring edition of Los Angeles Confidential photographed by Nigel Parry with styling by Kemal Harris. Talking about Dallas Buyers Club, which earned him an Oscar win, Leto recalls a luncheon for the film hosted by Liza Minnelli. “You know what she said to me? She said, ‘I haven’t felt this way since I saw On the Waterfront.’ And she stood up in front of everybody and said, ‘Jared, when I was watching your performance, I felt the way that I do when a friend is going through the hardest time of their life. I felt like I knew you and that I cared for you in the way I would a dear friend.’ If I can support this film, then I’m happy to do it. Perspective and gratitude have a lot to do with it: I don’t make that many films. I don’t know when I’ll next make a film or when I’ll next be a part of this process. People have been rather lovely, supportive, and kind.” Read more at la-confidential-magazine.com.
