Kent & Curwen Spring/Summer 2015–Embracing military references for spring/summer 2015, Kent & Curwen creative director Simon Spurr put a whimsical spin on the popular design motif. Slim silhouettes reigned as dress shirts with narrow lapels were finished with epaulettes. Among band jackets and cropped peacoats, Spurr injected the collection with a hint of the 1980s. Here, two-button suits were dressed up with printed dress shirts and ties, often in contrasting patterns. Touching upon a moto-motif, leather gloves, belted jackets and sportier pieces rounded out Spurr’s mix of refinement and contemporary zest.
