Young Americana–Il Sistema Degli Oggetti designers Caterina Coccioli and Alessandro Manzi present their latest collection as finalists of the recent search by Vogue for Who is On Next for menswear. Showcased during Pitti Uomo, the new spring collection is captured here by Jacopo Moschin. Creating sportswear fashioned after the American youth of the 70’s and 80’s shot by Hug Holland in Venice Beach, characters–rebellious at the time, make a comeback with expressive fabrications. From the skater and surfer to the basketball player, comfortable garments take top form with an artistic vision inspired by talents including Nate Lowman, Dan Colen and the late Dash Snow. Finding comfort in reinvented basketball shorts, gorgeous parkas and other fantastic light standbys, Jordan Postrel is outfitted by Ivan Bontchev for a welcomed spring outing.
