Founded in 2000, this year marks the tenth anniversary of John Varvatos’ label. To celebrate the event, it was natural to look at the root of Varvatos’ evolving inspirations– “the faces that have peppered the history of rock ‘n’ roll.” Continuing an ongoing creative relationship with Stephen Niedzweicki and Danny Clinch, the trio decided to revisit the last ten years for fall’s campaign. Comprised of thirty-nine artists that contribute to the label’s family, the campaign showcases everyone from Lenny Kravitz and Dave Navarro to Iggy Pop. Set against a backdrop inspired by the Beatles’ album cover for The Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club and the iconic quirkiness of Monty Python, the campaign dismisses the all-to often serious nature of fashion and taps into the free spirit of the musicians that act as Varvatos’ muses.
