Go East!–On March 14th 2013, Italian label Giorgio Armani opened its latest boutique on Canton Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong. To celebrate the event, the Italian fashion house hosted and exclusive cocktail party, attended by over 400 guests, all dressed in Armani’s refined designs. The event included an exclusive catering, featuring a selection of traditional Italian canapés, provided by chefs of the Armani Group in Milan. The event also hosted an exclusive preview of the Eccentrico exhibition, which showcases a selection of 51 dresses from Armani’s archives, starting from 1985 to the latest spring/summer 2013 collection.The exhibition also includes a selection of unique cosmetics, limited edition Armani privé fragrances and the 2012 limited edition watches collection named Year of the Dragon. The new Giorgio Armani boutique, designed by Giorgio Armani himself and his team of in-house architects, covers over 950 square meters on two floors and presents the label’s menswear and womenswear ready-to-wear collections, including accessories. Furnishings that come straight from Armani/Casa collection, define the aesthetic of the new boutique, which reminds of a luminous and modern bamboo jungle.
