Emmy Nominations 2014–Bruno Mars’ record-breaking performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show last year has earned the singer an Emmy nomination in the category of “Outstanding Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Program.” The show was seen by more than 115 million viewers, breaking the previous record of 114 million set by Madonna’s performance two years earlier. Other nominees in the same category include Parks and Rec in Europe, The Soup: True Detective and Between Two Ferns with Zack Galifianikis: Barack Obama.
