This season, Alexander McQueen’s McQ line is inspired by the London nightlife of the 1980’s.  Graphically inclined, the collection steers clear of basic solids in preference of colorful prints. Drawing inspiration from “the decadence and extravagance that characterized the figureheads of the era’s subversive club scene”, the spring collection embodies a rebellious youth and sense of freedom.

  1. The McQ collection that arrives on the racks is rarely worth the price. The production value is far too low. Its a shame. Marc by Marc looks lofty by comparison. I wish the roles were reversed. I’m a much bigger fan of Alex but his diffusion lines aren’t that great.
