Balmain Homme Spring/Summer 2015-Inspired by 1960s downhill racers and F1 drivers, creative director Olivier Rousteing takes Balmain Homme in a new direction for spring/summer 2015. Bold blocks of color and contrasting stripes are used to give the Balmain man a sporty edge. “There’s something authentic, masculine and, yes, sexy, in the style of those great ’70s athletic icons,” adds Rousteing. “Inspired by them, I worked to incorporate bold contrasts in color and fit into this collection.” Added to a mix of leather jackets, slouchy pullovers, tuxedos and double-breasted jackets, a Navajo-inspired pattern lends the collection a strong punch to take it over the top for an inspiring spring.
